Small but with an ever growing popularity, this ski centre is located on the Babanovac plateau, on 1260 m above the sea level. Ski centre is connected with Travnik (20 km).Vlašič is also equipped with a trail for ski jumping on which a contest of European Cup in ski jumping was held before the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is a skiing school organised in the ski resort and there is also a ski equipment rental possibility. Except skiing on Babanovac, you can also practice snowboarding, night skiing, sledging, and Nordic skiing. The snow on Vlašić and Babanovac lasts for 5 months annually. Stormy days are very rare and ski trails are protected from strong wind blows. The mountain is visitor friendly throughout other parts of the year, especially in summer. You can enjoy excursions, hiking and strolls through the most beautiful parts of Vlašič, like charming river Ugar and its spring.
