A small ski resort Mukinje is arranged as a part of the National park Plitvice. The trails are in 800 m range of the National park’s hotels and the 3 accommodated trails are altogether 1 km long. The trails are recreational, adapted for beginners, recreational skiers and children. There is the possibility of ski equipment renting (skis, ski boots, and sledges) on the ski resort, and free parking for all guests is provided. The ski resort also offers night skiing on Fridays and Saturdays from 19 to 22 h, and there is a sledge run arranged near the ski resort. The ski resort also possesses snow canons for creating artificial snow. This ski resort relates its existence with additional content as natural beauties of Plitvice lakes, gastronomical offer and pristine nature.
