Krvavec is the biggest and one of the best ski resorts in Slovenia. It is situated in Savinjsko – Kamniške Alps near Kranj, and only 20 km from Ljubljana.
Here you can find skiing and snowboarding schools, snow kindergarten, a playground for children, racing track and fun park. This is also the place from which the main cableways start, which will take you all the way to the 1971 m above sea level, which is the height of Zvoh – the highest peak of the ski resort.
A modern system of artificial snowing guarantees well prepared trails and a long season which usually ends by the end of April. Here are several boarding houses as a part of the ski resort where you can spend the night, but also a real Eskimo village where you can sleep in igloos or at least observe them during the day.
