Cerkno is a ski resort equipped in modern fashion, located on the slopes of Crni Vrh, 50 km away from Ljubljana.
We would definitely recommend this ski resort to beginners or families with little children because the trails are wide and nicely formed. In the combination with the mobile boarding trails, they represent an ideal learning place.
Skiing centre Cerkno has one of most modern cable car systems among Slovenian ski resorts. A skiing school is organized in the ski resort; there is also a possibility of ski equipment rental and a kindergarten. In the summer months you can also take up cycling, paragliding, sports climbing, mountain hiking and hunting and fishing.
