Ski resort Čelimbaša is located in a place called Mrkopalj. This place is settled on 832 m above the sea level. One ski trail is wide and long enough to provide you loads of good skiing. The other two trails are shorter, but steeper and we believe that they would be excellent for more demanding skiers when they are covered with enough snow. One way or another, you shall spend a pleasant day on the snow in the sun. There are solid accommodation units in the place Mrkopalj, mostly private ones. In the very footage of the ski resort, you can find ski service shops and a ski school. We would like to emphasise that Čelimbaša is one of the oldest and the most long lasting ski resorts, and definitely a ski resort with the greatest potential in Gorski kotar. It is planned to widen the trails, build an artificial lake for easier covering the trails with snow, as well as purchase a bigger capacity cableway
